Wikis

I myself use Wikipedia a lot, so I was familiar with the concept. I thought that the SJCPL's subject guides wiki was rather cool and convenient for users. The "from our new shelf" feature, I was especially impressed with. Wikis would be very applicable for libraries as an easy way for patrons to find information on specific topics as well as learning about programs, etc. that the library may be hosting.
